Biography
Early Life
Gula's age and place of birth are a mystery. The only one who knew her well was her daughter Lynkai, who had no knowledge of her mother's past. At some point she was sent to Korriban as a slave, and was used as target practice by Sith Acolytes.
House Maestus
In 3663 BBY, she drew the attention of Darth Maestus when he and his daughter Marha visited the Sith Academy. Gula, furious that the Sith viewed her with such disrespct, chose not to bow before the Sith Lord. He beat her for disrespect, then requested she be transferred to Dromund Kaas where she would serve his then four-year-old daughter. Gula was treated poorly by Marha, and often commanded to perform tasks just because Gula could not say no.
After several weeks of service, Gula was attacked by Darth Maestus. The attack resulted in pregnancy, and nine months later Gula gave birth to a daughter she named Lynkai. As Lynkai grew older, it became apparent the child had inherited her father's strength in the Force. Afraid for the child, Gula forbid Lynkai from using the Force.
Death
Gula was killed in 3643 BBY by Darth Maestus. After discovering Lynkai's Force sensitivity, he beat Gula and blamed her for not telling him. Lynkai attacked her father, and in retaliation, Maestus broke Gula's neck.
